yoga and dream sequences

it just poured for the last hour. now our windows are open and the fresh clean air is making me giddy with joy.
jeff and i went indoor rock climbing today, and it was so much fun. i feel so much stronger now with three months of trapeze and a week swimming and snorkeling behind me. i don't want to ever get less fit. i can get lazy and forget that being strong makes life more fun, and it's great to have lots of energy.
we stayed in maui at this biodynamic organic farm and drank coconut smoothies all day long, and swung in hammocks and took hot baths after swimming in the ocean all day. it was indescribable bliss. we felt so invigorated and rested from our vacation that we got up this morning and said 'let's go climbing!' and off we went.
i had forgotten how fun it was. now i am looking at my hands, they have trapeze calluses under each finger on my palm and on top of them, i have little raspy spots on my fingers and first and second joints of my fingers. there is a film of blacky dirt rubbed into all my rough spots. my hands look like an old man's hands. i have calluses on top of calluses.
this makes me so very happy.
